Both women are from different cultures, one is caucasian and the other is from the far east. We had this conversation about life and relationships, about just deciding to be yourself and making decisions that would improve your life. These women made decisions according to what they believe is good for them and what makes them feel great about life. I admire their relationship with their family and the way they look at life. They've lived to experience things, it was a great conversation. They have made a decision that was life altering for their career paths and their relationship with other people. This made me wish i had the courage to make such decisions when i finally get home. Hopefully i could be mature enough to stand for my decision and make myself feel better than what I'm feeling right now. Because i love Christian Bale and Heath rocked as joker. any other questions? proceeding to review then... As i have previously mentioned, the whole film was really long. And if the viewer i very much into watching love stories and dramas, then they won't enjoy such a twisted plot to begin with. What i loved about this movie was the lines that Joker throws at Batman.... "You complete me." "Why so serious?" "Kill me, kill me, kill me..." "We can do this forever." If you read it right now, it wouldn't really make sense right? Although it sounds very familiar from some other movie. The difference is HOW Heath delivered those freaking lines! Since i'm supposedly on a break mode right now, i should get on with it. I'm sorry for the other fans out there, but "New Moon" for me was a bit of a disappointment. The buildup of the characters at "Twilight" was not in this book. Initially i thought Bella would be a stronger person than she seems... but then the author made her mentally unstable and clingy. I just hate that type of character in a supposedly heroine. There were also some glitches in Meyer's writing, like lots of holes and plots that are just there to be fillers and has nothing to do with the whole story. Book 1 was fabulous, but like JK Rowling, there is a book that's bound to be disaster. The whole movie was so vague that it really didn't explain much, BUT there is always a BUT... it would be up to the viewer to interpret things themselves. That's what i liked about this film, it was so complex and yet so simple. Unless the viewer is a creative thinker i think such a film would be unappreciated. The bugs weren't THAT gross as most bug movies are, it was really simple but still kind of ircky at some points. The ending was very very very... i have the filipino word for it. "BITIN" which means, it kept me hanging. That's how i felt towards the end. Over all i loved the film that's why im giving it 4 stars instead of settling with 3. Although i didn't understand 75% of what they're talking about, i was able to get the gist of the whole thing. What i love about this film, it doesn't need much words for you to understand what was really happening. (Still, i would love to see this with subs) It was a good watch especially for teenagers who are having troubles in school and bullying. The film shows two unlikely characters meeting and helps each other in the most unusual way (Oguri Shun and Aoi Miyazaki). Friendship falling off and starting anew. The ending was pretty much special for me, it was directed well. The last scene kind of gives you a glimpse of a drastic change due to a decision that was made. I'm a sucker for happy endings... this movie was draggy for me and the ending was just a pain to watch and the knowledge of how the whole story ended did not help how i felt all through out the movie. Keira Knightley was a love in Pride and Prejudice, but this movie did not give her much of a chance to show what she's more capable of, (that's just my opinion) while on the other hand James McAvoy was really good in this film. Just a little too clean for the movie, but he was really great especially when thrown together to Knightley. The plot was a bit draggy as the book. Yes... i fast read the book before checking this out and as i have predicted i wouldn't really enjoy it. The book was a classic, but it wasn't enough for me to make a decent review. To be honest, the first time i saw Twilight in the book store shelf, i was partially intrigued with its cover, but when i read the summary at the back part my interest was not enough to let me buy it and take it home. The second time i saw the book, i decided to buy it for "passing the time" purposes. Then as soon as i got started reading, i couldn't stop reading it. It gets really addicting! i love the way Stephenie Meyer writes, her description on the main character's feelings were just right that i started feeling the same way as i read through the whole book.
