Picking up from the last volume, Aine runs out of the photo shoot all embarrassed at being naked. Sakuya goes after her. When he catches up to her, Aine is being evasive. Sakuya grabs her and tells her he made his feelings clear for her at the concert when he sang "Love Melody". Aine finally understands (her name means love melody you see....) that he loves her. And all is well with the world.

So the new Lucifer publicity hits the street, and it's a sensation. Magazines are writing articles about the mysterious model Sakuya is posing with (they don't know her identity, but apparently that doesn't stop them from writing about her). So Aine becomes somewhat of a celebrity.

One day, while hanging out with Sakuya at his place, she notices that he seems bothered by the news on TV: the son of american media mogul Rupert Grazer has come to Japan. The next day, Metro Records is throwing a party for him and the whole band (Aine included) is invited. Aine changes into her "party" outfit which Sakuya bought (he said he liked it because it was easy to take off ^_^;;) While searching for the party, she bumps into a guy, at first she thinks it's Sakuya because he has blue eyes. She hugs him, but then she realizes the guy has blond hair. She runs away embarrassed, not noticing one of her earings fell off.

So at the party, Ralph, Rupert Grazer's son, is introduced. Aine recognizes him as the stranger she bumped into earlier. Aine also notices how popular Sakuya is with the ladies. She is jealous and wanders off on her own at the party. She drinks some champagne. Ralph tries to strike up a conversation with her, which Sakuya notices. He tells off the women who have been hanging on to him to get Aine. Suddenly Aine faints in Ralph's arms, supposedly because of the drinks. Sakuya steals her from Ralph's arms and gives her water...through his mouth. This causes quite a reaction from the crowd and Ralph. Sakuya brings Aine to a room upstairs so she can rest.

Sakuya (and half-conscious Aine) run into Ralph. Aine overhears Ralph refer to Sakuya as his brother. So after that little run in and Sakuya is alone with Aine, Aine asks him what is his relationship with Ralph. Although Sakuya at first doesn't want to tell her, he finally tells her the whole story: Sakuya's mother was a singer at a club. She was happily married with someone. One day, Rupert Grazer came to the club. After seeing Sakuya's mother perform, he asked the club's manager if he could arrange a meeting between him and her. They exchanged some money, and Sakuya's mother was raped. She became pregnant, and she hoped the child saw the baby's blue eyes. Sakuya's mother blamed him for her fate : being shunned by her own family and society in general. So all his life, Sakuya has felt that his blue eyes are a curse. Aine comforts him by telling him she loves his blue eyes.

Since Aine feels better, she and Sakuya go back to the party. Again Ralph stops them. Ralph came to return Aine's earing. Sakuya threatens Ralph that if he ever touches Aine again, he'll kill him. Ralph is unphazed and declares that he'll steal her away from Sakuya. Sakuya won't let him though. Aine is happy with these turn of events, because she sees first hand how dedicated Sakuya is to her.

The next day, at a tv performance, Ralph shows up. He quickly starts groping and kissing Aine behind the cameras. Sakuya sees this, and in the middle of his performance he runs off stage to save Aine. He takes her to the stage with him and continues the show. The show's producer sees this woman on the stage as the perfect opportunity to recreate the imagery of Lucifer's latest publicity (where the models had their faces away from the camera). So the show is a hit despite the slight commotion in the middle of the performance.

Ralph is pissed off. Sakuya was taunting him with Aine when he went back up on stage. He feels that with his money, everything he wants is bound to be his so... he cancels all of Lucifer's media appearances and concerts. He will do this until Aine agrees to quit Lucifer and work with him. Aine feels that these latest events are all her fault. She runs into Ralph. She yells at him for what he's done and slaps him. She runs to Sakuya's apartment. Sakuya comforts her, he won't let her write lyrics for anyone but him, and him and the band have come up with a plan. The band performs at a park (for free, I'm assuming). Lots of people show up despite the lack of publicity. But Lucifer hasn't won yet as more and more of their shows get cancelled. Aine confronts an angry mob of Lucifer fans who wonder why they can't see Lucifer anymore. Aine feels very guilty for depriving the fans of their much needed J-Pop. Ralph shows up with a car, and Aine comes with him, admitting defeat. Sakuya witnesses the whole scene, he tries to stop Aine but many security people restrain him.

Ralph takes Aine to a hotel and tells her she can't leave her room or see Sakuya until she writes song lyrics for him. As for Sakuya and the band, all their engagements are back as scheduled, but he is angry. He asks Sasaki to find out where Ralph keeps Aine. Back with Aine, she has finished writing lyrics, but Ralph is not pleased with them. He throws them away and tells her to write better ones. Sasaki finds out Aine's whereabouts. Sakuya breaks in her room. She doesn't want to leave until she's written the lyrics for Ralph, because that was part of their deal. So Sakuya makes out with her to inspire her to write the lyrics she's so famous for. She finishes writing that same night, and she leaves happily with Sakuya.

The next day, Ralph learns of the past night's events. He reads the lyrics Aine left behind, which are good. He tears up the sheet.

Aine stays over Sakuya's place and they do it for the first time.

Some time later, while going to school, Aine overhears the news that Sakuya his at the hospital. She runs to see the other band members and ask them what happened with Sakuya. They're as clueless as her. They want to go look for him, but Sasaki stops them because they're celebrities, and they can't be out on the streets without the proper security. So Aine volunteers to search alone. She ends up at Ralph's office. He knows where Sakuya is and takes Aine to a secret part of the building that looks like a jail. There Aine sees Sakuya unconscious and chained to a wall.(excerpted from:http://vegastar.envy.nu/kaikan)

Words from me:
Volume 2 was a bit more exciting than volume 1. But it was such a hanger that I couldn't wait to download the next one. (I should have downloaded it in advance... bummer.) More trouble comes in between the couple. I don't know yet what's going to happen in volume 3. I'm still currently downloading it.. and I don't want to read the summary coz it would totally spoil the excitement...

Summary: (Spoiler R18)
Meet Aine, a high school girl who writes suggestive lyrics. Her source of inspiration? Her dream-date, a man with broad shoulder, big strong arms (etc..) which she has yet to meet. That is until she is almost run over Sakuya in his sports car. To check whether Aine is alright, he grops her ( or touches her...whichever). He gives Aine a backstage pass to a Lucifer concert, telling her that if she really is bruised somewhere, to go tell him, and that he'll be at the Tokyo Dome for two days. Sakuya leaves. Once Aine realizes she lost her lyrics in the commotion, she goes to the concert. At the concert she sees that Lucifer is playing her song. She is confused and wonders how they got her lyrics. She gets closer to the stage and recognizes Sakuya. Sakuya sees her, and as the lights go out onstage, takes her backstage. Right then and there, Sakuya wants Aine to be Lucifer's songwriter. Aine is at first shocked but readily accepts. Sakuya and the band need to go back onstage for an encore, and Sakuya asks Aine to wait for him. However, Sasaki, Lucifer's manager, tells Aine to go home. She leaves, thinking she was a fool to believe she could be Lucifer's songwriter.

The next day, after she leaves school, she is abducted by Sakuya and is taken to his apartment. He wants her to write more lyrics for Lucifer, and to help her with the task he makes out with her. Sasaki shows up and scolds Sakuya for meeting Aine again. Aine tells Sasaki that she IS Lucifer's songwriter. After that encounter, Sakuya gives Aine keys to his apartment.

The next day, Aine is at a Lucifer photo shoot. Some women (who do the makeup for Lucifer, I think), notice how close Aine is to Sakuya. Because of that jealousy, Aine receives a letter warning her that they know everything about her, and that she better stop hanging around Sakuya. Aine is afraid. The next day at school, the girls there also know about Aine's involvment with Sakuya. They're about to beat her up, when Sakuya shows up. I guess he's at Aine school for the day, as a sort of community service.

Aine and Sakuya are alone in the music room, and again Sakuya puts the moves on her. Later, when Aine is running to class, the girls from before called up some boys to rape Aine. Thankfully Sakuya shows up to save her. Before he's about to exact revenge from the girls who set Aine up, Aine stops Sakuya saying that she understands why they did it. The girls all feel bad now and leave.

In the meantime, Aine has been wondering how Sakuya feels about her. Sure, he kisses her and grops her alot, but she doesn't kow whether he's doing that as part of his job, or because he really likes her. Aine meets Tatako Kai, the director of some department in the record company. She wants Aine to come up with a concept for Lucifer's next photo shoot (or something). Aine decides on having the band members pose with some models half-naked, only the model's face will turn away from the camera. The idea is to let the fans, in their mind, take the place of the model and be in the arms of their favorite band member. At the photo shoot, Aine is uncomfortable thinking of Sakuya being with another woman (the model). Sakuya notices that, and decides that Aine should be in the picture with him. Words from me:
Mayu Shinjo's work, is really an art. love her drawing specially on her male characters. But since it borderlines to being ecchi, this is not for everyone. yes... 18yrs old and above only.
There was a love song part in this volume, which doesn't have any sensual phrases going. Totally bishoujou... love love the lyrics Mayu used here. (would be posting it on the blog later.) That was my favorite part in this volume. The sweetness both this oblivious people had. toinks! I just finished reading volume 1.. Love the lines... and yes.. I'm jumping off to volume 2.
