It was a good book.
But not perfect.

Although, the heavy old English words did carry me away.
Jane Austen was a good writer,
its because how she subtly brought humor in the book...

What really caught my attention to read the Pride and Prejudice was seeing the 2005 movie remake first. I wanted to know the other details that wasn't exactly in the movie. I fell in love with Elizabeth's character during the whole show, and of course with the proud Mr. Darcy.. Reading the book just completed the picture that i had always imagined in my mind.. except for the ending of course.

I like the letters that were written in the book, (which was very very vivid in the movie, and makes the movie confusing as to why Elizabeth was distressed when she read the letter from Mr. Darcy and the one from her mother.)

Over all, I like how the book ended.. It gave me a great deal of closure that the movie wasn't able to give.
